How long is shelf life of NOMOQ's cans?

Scope of Guarantee

NOMOQ provides a shelf-life guarantee solely and exclusively for beverage cans containing products that have undergone and successfully passed compatibility testing in strict compliance with NOMOQ's established beverage compatibility evaluation process.

Approved Filling Products & Terms 

Where a beverage is formally designated in writing by NOMOQ as an "Approved Filling Product" following corrosivity and compatibility verification, NOMOQ guarantees:

• A shelf life of twelve (12) months for unfilled cans, calculated from the date of initial delivery to the Buyer;

• and A shelf life of twelve (12) months for filled cans, commencing on the date of filling. 

Conditions Precedent & Exclusions

The shelf-life guarantee is expressly conditioned upon full compliance with all of the following requirements:

• All filling, seaming, pasteurization, and thermal treatment operations are executed in accordance with NOMOQ or Ardagh Metal Packaging Europe and technical specifications;

• The beverage recipe, formulation, ingredients, and filling parameters remain strictly identical to the sample tested during the BCC process, without alteration;

• and The Goods are handled, transported, and stored in accordance with NOMOQ's or Ardagh Metal Packaging Europe handling guidelines, including maintaining appropriate ambient temperature control and protection against freezing or physical impact.
