When customers choose to receive pallets without edge protection and shrink wrap, they accept additional risks beyond NOMOQ’s standard policy. This includes not only dented cans but also any potential liability for strapped pallets without shrink wrap and edge protection if cans fall out of the pallet or sustain damage.
We have established clear guidelines for transport-related damages:
- Less than Truckload (LTL) Deliveries: A maximum of 1.5% of cans falling out of the pallet is considered within standard tolerance and does not qualify for a claim with the logistics provider.
- Full Truckload (FTL) Deliveries: A maximum of 0.5% of cans falling out of the pallet is within the standard tolerance.
If the number of lost cans exceeds these limits, you can report the issue by opening a ticket here. Each case will be reviewed with the utmost care to find a satisfactory resolution. As we deliver our goods according to FCA (Incoterms 2020), the buyer is responsible for insuring the shipment against damage during transport.
